The Mask
I was assigned to choose an adjective that describes my design identity. Meticulous became the concept behind the mask, as I feel it is very representative of myself and my design aesthetic.

Exoskeleton
The exoskeleton design was inspired by the cicada and the opening and closing of its wings. As the wings open, the colors become warmer and brighter to symbolize the changes a cicada undergoes in its process from molting to emerging from their lives underground.
Materials: paint sample swatches, black vinyl, plastic mesh, metal paper fasteners
